As a child, I voraciously read books and eagerly absorbed stories. I enjoy a wide variety of stories, including true accounts such as autobiographies and fictional tales.

 

I am over sixty years old and have been writing my own stories since 2012. I write in English, a language I self-taught. When I was young, we didn’t have official English classes in school, and math was still straightforward.

 

My writing may not be perfect, but I believe the stories are incredible.

 

The genres vary because I write both paranormal fiction and non-supernatural fiction. It depends on what I feel connected to at the moment.

 

My husband and I run a small business ourselves. The freedom of independence is invaluable, as no one dictates what, when, or how to do things. This sense of independence closely mirrors what I experience as an author. That’s why I decided to be an Independent Writer instead of signing up with a publishing company.

 

I also enjoy traveling; in summer, we spend weekends exploring the country. We love discovering new places. During winter, we leave the Netherlands for warm, sunny Spain. That’s all I want to share about my private life.
