Raven leans toward me. “Don’t let this world fool you because it lets you see what you expect to see. You probably see a world similar to Earth, right?” he whispers in my ear. His hot breath makes me shiver, and I need a minute to gather my thoughts. Then it registers what Raven told me.
 
“What do you mean?” I ask. “Everyone sees this world differently. So, keep your eyes open and your mind closed. It’s the only way to see the true realm. But beware that it’s not a pretty sight,” he warns. I turn to Daniel to tell him what Raven just told me, but I see that Luc is already explaining things to him.
